Sustainability & Impact

We champion regenerative agriculture that protects the land, increases yields, and secures long-term income for farming communities.

Sustainable Development Goals

  • Zero Hunger

The SDG goal 2 tackles food insecurity . We are passionate about doing our part to help the country achieve this goal. By supporting Ghanaian farmers to sustainably farm and linking them to local markets, farmers produce higher yields and successfully gets them to consumers- thereby enhancing food security and reliance.

  • Climate Action

The SDG goal 13 addresses Climate change which is impacting rainfall patterns and contributing to droughts. This goal emphasises on resilience which sustainable farming practices provides through improving soil health to withstand soil degradation; drip irrigation and rainwater harvest to help conserves water and fighting water scarcity, and the use of drought –resistant and climate-smart crop varieties to protect yield even with low rainfall patterns. Finally as we help farmers reduce synthetic fertilizer usage, we help lower nitrous oxide emissions which has a high global warming potential of 273-298 times higher than carbon dioxide and long atmospheric lifespan of about 109 years causing ozone layer depletion and contributing to climate change. In driving sustainable farming, we join the nation make progress in realising this goal.

  • Life On Land

The SDG goal 15 includes conserving life on land by reversing land degradation and stopping biodiversity loss. As we engage more farmers to participate in sustainable farming across agrarian communities, we will gradually support environmental stewardship, help reduce land degradation, increase soil health and supports biodiversity so hopefully the country can fulfil this goal.

Restoring soil, strengthening farmers, securing the future.

Doing Good Is Good Business

We encourage farmers to safeguard the environment for future harvests. Our team guides farmers in using sustainable agricultural farming practices and teaches them to drastically reduce chemical fertilizer usage for organic fertilizer. This practice prevents  soil degradation, soil erosion and promotes soil health and biodiversity. Additionally, our operations incorporates climate conscious strategies like the installation of precise irrigation systems, mulching to retain soil moisture, and building of dams to harvest rainwater to avoid over-extraction from  waterbodies through irrigation.

We believe that we succeed when our farmers succeed so we strive to help farmers generate household income from their farming activities. By using our organic inputs and with our extension support services,  farmers gain higher yields. Higher yields with the  correct harvesting and storage practices reduce harvest and post-harvest losses which translates to more sales. Thus, by creating attractive markets, we assist farmers in securing their revenue and gives them the opportunity and justification to scale up their business for greater returns.

Agriculture is a major economic driver in the country. It is also crucial that the nation achieves food security and reliance for the benefit of its citizens. One way we can attain this is encouraging youth participation by education and capacity building. Therefore, we have educational scholarships for deserving students from farming communities ,  training programs  for farmers to upgrade their knowledge and practices, and sustainable farming campaigns. Altogether, these strategies will drive sustainable farming, increase the involvement of new vibrant  farmers thus job creation and enhance environmental stewardship.
